Health care is complicated. By design, the healthcare industry

makes it that way.

Health Advocacy is simply a service for consumers and their families to call to help them navigate

their health care.

How does Advantage PHC work?

Advocates address clinical issues, price transparency, claims/benefit questions, grievances, paperwork and other urgent needs. Our Client Engagement and Enrollment Team are available Monday – Friday from 7:00a – 7:00p CST!

Consumers need to be empowered so they can be more engaged in their own health. “Consumerism is touted as one of the great ways to reduce healthcare costs: give consumers “skin in the game” and they’ll purchase healthcare services like they purchase other consumer goods. However, if you’ve just installed higher-deductible plan, you know it isn’t that simple for the average employee. Consumers need expert support.

A member simply calls the advocate line and explains their issue. They are assigned an advocate who works one-on- one with them until the issue is resolved. If their case requires the advocate to know details of the member’s medical/dental insurance, they will have the member provide those. If they negotiate for the member, they’ll complete HIPAA Release Forms.

Most Americans are confused and feel powerless when they try to navigate the system and become better healthcare consumers. Does this describe your employees? Are you inundated with questions every year after you roll out a new benefit program?
